This set of Planing forms is used for finishing when making bamboo split cane rods.
It is made with two bars of 20mm x 20mm cold-rolled steel. The planing forms length is 1500mm.
Taper settings are made through 14 push/ pull adjustment stations positioned every 100mm.
On each station, the adjustment is made by two 6mm hexagonal head screws and a dowel pin keep the bars in alignment.
60 degree groove have a depth that ranges from 0mm to 1.8mm on the first side (tip side) and from 1.8mm to 3.8mm on the second side (butt side). This allows to make a lot of differents tapers.
